Good point mary, getting rid of and staying away from payday loans is always good advice.

I think that steps has to be taken to see that these payday lenders does not charge abnormally high rates of interest. I heard that recently Pennsylvania Department of Banking has filed a lawsuit against Advance America for charging abnormally high rates of interest and fees, which is beyond the permissible limit under Pennsylvania law. This is what I feel is a step forward towards limiting the interest rates on paydday loans.

True they did file a suit. Good natured had a post of it earlier this week.

I just heard again last night on the news where they are going after other lenders. I do not remember the names. There was three others. All these places have such weird names like cash now, payday advance, that it is hard to keep up with them. I say "Go get um".
