we have bankruptcy more than 12 yrs.since then we pay our credit cards and car loan on time do you think our credit scores improve and bankruptcy will show on our credit report.

it should be off your credit report by now, I believe that a bankruptcy online stays on your report for ten years so you should be okay. Got to annualcreditreport(dot)com, and pull your report for free. I am sure that if it was twelve years ago that it should have been gone for at least 2 years by now.

auroravallejo2007 , I had a bankrupty back in 1995 and it was off my report in ten years....yours should be off also. I would do as Goodnatured said and go check your credit report. If you have kept all other accounts in good standing and this would still happen to be on there it should not have drastic effects due to the age. I believe you will not find it there though. Relieve your mind and go pull one of your free credit report looks.

Bankruptcy stays in your credit report for seven to ten years and so I think that it should go out of your report by now. If you make regular payments on your existing debts, your credit score will definitely improve. However, if you again become delinquent, your score may come down.
