i have filed bankruptcy, but i am being sued from a landlord not included in the bankruptcy. i do not believe i owe him any money. what should i do?

Can you give any more info than that? How much are you being sued for? Are you being sued for backed rent or maybe he could be sueing you for damages that he might be claiming you did. Have you tried contacting the landlord yet?

Hi John,

You can try to contact the landlord and inquire into this. IF you really think that you owe nothing to the landlord, you can file a counterclaim in then court.
