has anyone heard of capaha commerce

has anyone had an experience with capaha commerce credit services? i am taking out a loan and they require a collateral deposit.

I am leary of anyone that wants money in order to give you money. If this is indeed a scam, it is called an advance fee loan.

Exercise great caution when dealing with them.

You really dont need to step onto the mess. There are far better loan grantors. Beware of scams going on.

They keep calling me. I told them I didn't have money to send them. They still keep calling me. They are not listed on the Better Business Bureau.

They are a scam. Do a lot of research before sending in money. Asking for money before loaning cannot be legit.

If you are contacted by Capaha Commerce Credit Service, ask them where they are located, they will tell you the name of a town that doesn't exist, the truth is there is a real capaha bank thet they use as their cover. I too sent them money like an idiot, and they still take my calls, refusing to admit that they are a scam. I did a little bit of research on them and the 1-866-822-0943 # is based out of canada, their not in the u.s and their not licensed in Missouri, I talked to the attorney generals office. Bottom line is DO NOT send them any money, it is fake and they
will not send you anything. I am still trying to make sense of just how they do it but they do and get away with it, i am sorry to anyone else who fell for it but you should change your personal info, i contacted a local news station and she posted their name on the news and advised me to change all my banking, license, and social security, because they could steal again. I wish you all luck! :) By the way I JUST went through this last week and am still fired up over it which is why i have so much to say about it! I also contacted western union too, because that;s how we sent our$ and they have it under investigation, i am hoping if enough people complain, they'll give up! Thanks

Hello Again! By the way I wanted to know the name your "representative "used. Thanks so much, just curious if they change their "name" for everyone.

I understand how fired up you must be. I am surprise how people do it and get away with it. Where are they from?

They said they were from missouri, but all their info is based out of canada.

Sat, 09/29/2007 - 23:35 Permalink

The crazy part of all this is they are still taking calls, they swear their not a scam, well I don't know what they call what they did, but it's a scam to me. Do you think there is a way to catch them, honestly? or do you think they will continue to steal from people? I would be happy if we could stop it from happening again, is there anything else I could do? I just really want to catch them in the worst way, I am willing to try anything to stop them. that's how angry I am. If you know of any other places I could call I would appreciate it , Thanks so much!

Report it to the police and the BBB. The best way to get rid of them is by making people aware of their fraudulent activities. This is a forum where people keep posting and there are people who visit and check the threads....just as you have done :). what you can do is keep posting in this thread. You can do it with the caps lock off. I am sure everybody here will see your warnings.

Taking some action together helps in a better way. Make a community that can work against the fraud activities of Capaha Commerce. Good Luck!!!

I know there is a Cape Giradue MO, but not the name listed. Also, one of the customer tetimonials is a Bulfalo NY :)

So I called them, they said that they were out of Colorado. When advised that they were an advanced fee scam organization, they hung up.

We did change our license #'s and Social Security office was notified. I contacted my local news station here in Boston, and they actually contacted me about doing a segment on this "company". I am really considering it because I TOO AM SICKENED OVER THIS. If you don't mind me asking the name of your so called representative and how much did you lose,i am up to $1300. So don't think you were the only ones who fell for it, We can all make mistakes. I just can't believe there are people out there who could actually sleep at night knowing they did this to a family. Good Luck and Best wishes, keep your head up it will get better and with any hope they will get caught.

I feel pretty good that people are now rising up against crimes. You are doing a tremendous job. Keep it up. Hope people come to know about this scam and dont fall for it. :)

Thanks Laura, it's just too bad that many have already lost money, I hope with all the reports and complaints that they will feel pressured to stop, but who knows the people that are working for this scam must not have feelings because i can't for the life of me understand how any person could not feel shameful and embarresed by this type of behavior, I believe in what goes around comes around and I hope they get theirs. I am not a mean or spiteful person by nature, but when it comes to taking from two girls, watch out! Thanks Again for responding with encouraging
words, I know we'll get through this and hopefully we'll be the ones celebrating that we got them busted!!

I also contacted the Missouri Attorney Generals Office, and the Finance Division, They sais that Capahaa was not licensed through Missouri. Chances are we will not goet our money back, I lost almost 1500. They are going to be very hard to catch but I think we are on teh right track, contacting everyone and putting complains in with all the right people, If you don't mind me asking, where are you from, and how did you get in touch with Capaha, And did you send $ western union, because I also put a complaint in with their freaud division. Thanks, And if you have any questions,I'm here!

I know how you feel, I am so mad, you should hear the phone calls I've made to them. I know it's frustrating but if we can get as many people as possible to complain, maybe we can get them caught. It makes me sick that thet got away with it, what was the name of your "representative", I feel terrible, the way you sound is how I sounded three weeks ago when it first happened to us, please make sure you change all your personal info, you have to be careful, my anger at them has turned into just wanting to get them back, you WILL start to feel a little better soon, I'm sorry this happened to you, it's sucky feeling, keep your head up.

Nadia, Trust me I am with you on this one! I hope they will be caught too! i am in Boston, do you know how they contacted you initially? I focus all my time on trying to figure out a way to find them, and with a 5& 7 year old at home, time is crucial! I strongly feel they will get what's coming to them, what goes around comes around! Just make sure you contact your bank,if you gave them your bank account, and you should contact your credit card companies, as well your license. If there is a # to call for the money gram,I would call that to they could probably direct you to their freud division, too. Good Luck, keep me posted :)

Is the Capaha Bank credit card affiliated with Capaha Commerce Credit Services?

Tue, 11/06/2007 - 23:12 Permalink

Well as far as my knowledge goes Capaha Bank has nothing to do with Capaha Commerce. The bank is a legit organization. Capaha Commerce is continuing its fraudulent activities under the name "Capaha".

I talked to capaha commerce credit services on the phone # 1-866-822-0943 spoke to a woman named pamela porter, she is the one whom sent me the loan documents as an e-mail attachment, sent from a gmail account capahacommercecs@gmail.com and there is another woman there that answers the main line and I believe her name is maggie. She is the one that said I would get the refund I requested of $2220.00 in 5-15 business days and I have not seen it yet. I originally sent my money through money gram and then had to call pamela porter to give her the reference number for the transaction, bad mistake! The transaction apparently was collected at a location in Onterio Canada, called "Saba Food" I was told by the local police dept that since the transaction sent and collected outside of the U.S there is nothing that the Federal FBI of the U.S can do about this situation, but was told by the police that you want to submit a fraud investigation to money gram and also your local attorney general department, the attorney general will then make an attempt to contact th e "Royal Canadian Mounted Police" whom can physically go to the location where the money was collected and have a right to collect detailed information from the retailer. I personally believe there is hope for people to get their money back, and I hope that stating the information I have more directly and specifically helps a little better, I wish everyone well. Please don't hesitate to IM me on yahoo messenger, just please specify that you are from the credit magic thread for capaha, thanks.
Happy Holidays everyone
