I'll tell ya...I WAS gonna sign up for Horizon CC, but,...after reading the 'Fine Print' in the contract, I decided aqainst it. I thought that Horizon CC would be reported to the CB's. The' Fine Print' says they are not, "obligated" to report to CB's." I'm gald I din't sign up for it. I think the website is "www.HorizonGoldCard(dot) com".

KARINA..did you pay with your bank account? I mean, have a 'debt' go through? If the debt hasn't gone through your bank yet, maybe you can talk to them and 'stop payment' on that transaction. Or..if you did it with a Debit card? I'm sure if you talk to your bank, they will understand.

WOW. It's a good thing I seen this thread before recommending it to my boyfriend to help improve his credit score! I signed up for a PeachDirect credit card [much like Horizon] & ordered a tv from them. Then canceled the shipment & they refunded the money. The only reason why I signed up with them was to have them reporting to the credit bureaus; which they assured that they did. Well, they did not & went out of business. Lucky for me, I never bought anything from them because I would probably be posting here about how bad they screwed me over.

Yes, it is not good to use the fly by night companies, I am curious, how does one report on ones credit report, what does a company have to do to submit information about someone?

Could a small business do it for you.

That's a good question goodnatured. I'm curious to know the answer to that as well. Because you can have collections on your credit report that are for medical bills, credit cards, loans, etc.

No guys I'm here as well. Just wondering are you talking about the first post? Because I was wondering that as well. I thought you had to be a business to do that. But when I seen the user name I took it they were a business so I left it at that.

Hi debra! I didn't know you were on here too. I keep running into goodnatured lol. I don't know if you have to be a business for the Horizon credit card. I think it is just a shoppers card where you buy stuff from them. I don't know for sure though because, well, I don't have their card. lol
