can not pay minimum credit card payments

You need to contact the credit card company immediately and explain your situation to them. You may be able to get them to give you some time, otherwise you will end up with late fees, over the limit fees and more. Try to work it out with them as much as you can.

If you don't you end up dealing with collection agencies that are ten times worse than the credit card companies. They purchase the debt and only make a profit if they collect.

I have been through this exact same thing, I wish I would have dealt with the original creditor, my credit is pretty messed up over this whole ordeal, you still have time to save your rating, I would not let it all go if there is any chance that you can save your credit. good luck.

If you cannot make the minimum payments within the due date, a late payment will show in your credit report, which will affect your credit score. Moreover, a fine will also be charged in your next statement because of this. So if you cannot make the full payment, try and at least make the minimum payment outstanding as on the statement within the due date. In addition to this you should try and make the entire payment towards the debt within 6 months, if you have not converted the transactions into monthly payments for 12 months.
