If i put money in prepaid visa card can creditors get that money? Do I have to declare it as a bank account?

Hi Char,

Prepaid cards, may it be Visa Card or MasterCard, it cannot be garnished. As far as I understand, a prepaid credit card cannot be garnished because, you use it after paying the credit card company. Thus, you are using your own money.

When you are taking a prepaid card, or may be any card, an account is being automatically opened, so you need to declare it as an account. Moreover, if you want to declare it somewhere, where do you want to declare it?

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Aaron
