Whether you have some or not. Remember that banks and credit card companies are here to make money just as we spend it. Explore all options before using your credit. Find a good consultant to speak to about your sitution before you make a mistake. Find a easier route to build credit like adding primary tradelines to boost your score instead of applying for alot of credit cards thats going to drop your score. If you need assistance let me know how can help you got one shoot to do it right.

Since credit cards are unsecured, they come with very high interest rates. Now credit limits on these cards influence us to make purchases with these cards without thinking how will we repay it later. This creates the problem because if we somehow fail to repay them back your credit score may be affected. But to build up a good credit score, these cards no doubt are a wonderful instrument. If we keep track of the purchases we make with these cards and repay them back on time, I don't find any reason why these cards would hamper our score.

I agree with you Anthony. I too think that credit cards can be a wonderful tool for building up a good credit score instead of going for other lines of credit. This is because, I think that you should go for other lines of credit like home loans only if you have such requirements. If you don't have such requirements, it is useless to go for such lines of credit. Moreover, credit cards have interest free periods and if we pay within the interest free period, not only our credit score will improve, but also we can save on our interest and late charges.

Been looking for a little info on credit cards. I need a 0 interest card to tranfer a balance for a few months until I can pay the full amount. The zero interest will run out on mine shortly and I want to roll it to another card so that I won't have to pay all the back interest. Like I said I can pay it aff shortly but just need a few more months. I need some good card ideas.

Hi fireyone
There are many credit card companies that offer 0 interest balance transfer. Some of them include the Citi cashreturns card, Citi Diamond preferred card, Citi platinum select card, Discover more card, Bank of America accelerated cash rewards card, and Bank of America Platinum pass Visa card to name a few. These cards also come with zero annual fees and low interest rate on new purchases.

Thanks Anthony. This is exactly the info I needed. I am going to wait until it gets closer to the end of my 0% on the other card just in case I get my settlement before then and can just pay it off in full. Wow this accident really sent me for a spin finacially and seems to be taking forever to get resolved.
How long does it usually take the other card to tranfer the debt from the old one?
