Subject: are they tracking my phone

I just called Asset acceptance for a friend of mine and when they picked up the phone they asked if I was A. Fields, I haven't been A. Fields in 12 years my Question is how would they know what my name is? I don't even live in the same county as i did 12 years ago.

Hi Nuck
You should not have called the collection agencies for other's debt because these debt collectors may note down your phone number and harass you even if you do not owe them any money. All that you can do is to guide your friend to get rid of these debt collectors but never call them unless they claim that you owe them money.
