As is stated above, CCS (USA) INC is a foreign corporation doing business in Massachusetts (among other states) under various names, such as Credit Control Services, Inc. (in Mass, apparently the name Credit Collection Services, Inc. had been taken by a now former attorney with the last name Tatel (but that's another story)).
As I have said, CCS (USA) INC. is the name of this Delaware corporation. the registered agent in Delaware is The Corporation Trust Company, Corporation Trust center, 1209 Orange Street, Wilmington, DE 19801 (302)658-7581 |

| i got into an accident about a year ago...i payed off the 1,100 with CCS and they are asking me to pay another 600...my mom called me saying that the cops showed up at her house regarding this issue...they harassed me my family which they live in another state..what should i do for them to stop harassing me...i pay the insurance company off through CCS... what more do they want... |

| I just filed an FCC report on them for collecting a debt that was older than 6 years as per Georgia State Law. I have sent them certified letters ordering them to stop but every year or so they try it again. They by 3rd hand accounts receivables for pennies on the dollar. |

well i have the phone number because as well as you i have/had a debt to pay but it is/was $139.13 and if they ask you how did you get this number just say some one gave it to you atleast the one in here for cali i have it is 1(877)289-0281
and make sure you have your case referance number handy it makes it a whole lot easier. well ttyl

| I tried to contact therm today from the number that was on my bank statement and I told them my name and number and they could not find it in the computer I was paying for a student loan for 4 months and I was seeing if the company was going to repurchase it back like promised and then the kept transfering back and fourth to like 4 different depts |

| I don't know...when I google CCS in Needham, MA there are numerous reports about them being FRAUDS. They call me and send me things in the mail; they are even calling my relatives in IL trying to reach me...but I don't owe them anything. The bill they are claiming I owe is non-existent; it was paid months ago. |

I am being harassed by CCS for a falsely filed debt by Progressive. They sent me to collecitons for $166.33 which I did not own. CCS contacted me and says they want $186.33. I called Progressive they admitted their mistake and sent a letter to me and to CCS saying I do not owe the debt. I sent a copy of my letter in to them too. Now CCS states I owe $76.33 and they could not remove this because they were not able to use the documentation I sent them. However the debt has some how been lowered in their office which leads me to believe they are trying to find a comfortable number I am willing to pay in order to keep this off my credit report. They said in order to get it completly removed I need to send them a copy of my new insurance report and show them my new insurance coninsided with my cancellation with Progressive. What?? Why does a collection agency need to know about my insurance coverage? Where does this new amount I owe come from?
I just filed a complaint with the FTC. I will let you all know if I get a response. This whole thing is a scam and I encourage anyone who has had a similar experience to fight this with them because they are a bunch of con artists. |

Con Artists for sure Matt. Its for the best that you have filed a report. I really dont understand how these scumbags survive with so much fraud added to their credentials.

I finally got someone at CCS to admit that they do have a fax machine. I faxed my documentation, which I had already mailed them, from Progressive stating that I was sent to collections in error and in fact owed no money. Now supposedly CCS needs to verify with their client Progressive that in fact the documentation which they sent me and CCS is correct. They have done a three way phone call with me and Progressive on which Progressive said it was a mistake, they have documentation stating so from Progressive and they still have to check with Progressive to see if they agree I don't owe the money??
I hate CCS, but I am the one harassing them now so the tables have turned. I have gotten several employees there to admit to me that they don't understand why their policies are the way they are and apologize to me and say "I just work here". This company is just looking for easy money, don't pay them unless you owe them money and you agree. They are not getting a dime from me I don't care how much or how little they may tell me I owe next.
By the way I got a generic response back from the FTC saying pretty much thanks for letting us know...that's it so far. |

Hi Matt,
This is a commendable news. I hope there will be plenty like you who can actually turn the table. Till then we will keep getting harassment details and frustrations. Fighting back spirit has to occur to all, and we will always be there to help.
