Received a parking ticket 03/2010 (thought I paid it off online).
May 22nd 2010 received a notice from freecreditreport.com, whom I have a membership with, that my credit score had dropped 63 points.
Checked my credit report and found that the parking ticket had been sent to a collections agency in the amount of $74 being 60 days late.
During this time I received no mail or phone calls regarding the parking ticket approaching late status.
My address and phone # has been up-to-date during this whole ordeal.
Filed a dispute.
Question: Do I have any standing on this dispute If I had no knowledge of negative account?

yes. If you paid it online there should be a credit card record. or an ACH record.
I would find out what collection agency has the account.

Can you tell whether or not you have any kind of proof of your payments? If you have, you can use that to dispute this wrong listing.
Send a dispute letter to the credit bureaus through certified mail, requesting a return receipt. Attach copies of your payment proofs along with the letter. You can use the sample dispute letter available with this community to write one of your own.
