how do I get collections removed from my account. The arrow financial services says they will not remove the negative mark. "it will never happen" was the words I got from them and they were really rude. What laws will help me?

You cannot get the negative item removed from your credit report if the creditor or the collection agency does not agree to pay for deletion agreement. However, the item will be listed as "paid" in your credit report and will still stay there as negative for seven years and six months from the date of your last payment towards the debt. The Fair Credit Reporting Act, allows negative items to stay on your credit report for seven years even if the debt is paid in full.

Can you tell me how much you owe to Arrow Financial?
Before you pay off the debt, get it validated from Arrow Financial to be sure that they own your debt and then pay it off. You should keep the proof that you have paid off the debt in case they again sell off the debt to another CA after receiving the payment from you.
However, if they cannot validate the debt, dispute the listing with the bureaus and the bureaus will get it removed from your report.

Ya there really nothing you can do except wait until it falls off on it's own. Unless you can get them to agree to a pay for delete.
