Hey guys, I made a post on this earlier, and it didn't look to deceiving. So I am making another post. I made an eBook on how to repair your credit score, and it's all for free. NO credit card needed at all. It will take a couple of seconds to get it, and after you guys get it, just reply in this topic and tell me what you think. The website is in my signature.

Thanks!

I don't see anything in your signature and would be interested in more information on this book, could you let us know how to get it? We have been waiting for something like that here. Would be awesome to see what you have come up with.

If you wrote the book why are you offering it for free?

Not trying to say anything negative here, but this sounds like one of the hooks that companies send out in order to bring in customers. If you spent time to write the book, what are the reasons for the free offer? I am with Lorri on this one.

Never know unless you go there and check it out, have you done that yet?

I have checked it out, but my question is still if you took the time to write the book why would you offer it to strangers for free? Yes, you can do it out of the kindness of your heart, but if I wrote a book about anything I would be doing it with the idea of selling it to others. Just my opinion...

Hello Goodnatured, how have you been?

I did check out the site. I see some interesting facts, but mostly what you see on other sites as a generic intro for a book. I did not exactly see a book, but just some tips. I did also see links to other credit related sites which in order to use we would have to dish money out. So, my point of view is that it gives a few tips in order to get us to purchase from one of those links. Unless I missed something?

So nothing useful and nothing new, that figures. Would be great if someone would write one from the experiences that they have here on this site.

Don't think you missed anything lost, it actually does look like a way to get more of the money we don't have. That would be nice good natured.

I hear you fireyone, always some one out there with a hand out instead of a hand up!!

Lostrikan24....I agree with you, I thought that the book was just a way to get people to buy their services.

It's like I mentioned here on the forums before, when ever you see the word 'free' we need to be very careful. It's 2008 now and the days of being extra nice to people are gone. Let's all be careful with the fishing hooks that these people keep leaving in the credit road for us to get hooked on.

So true---nothing is really ever free. I mean you might not pay actual money for something, but you might end up paying emotionally.

You also have to keep in mind that the person who put the book online is getting paid if you view the book online. Many sites (I hope someday mine) get paid for allowing ads on their sites. That allows them to let you view their info without charge.

Hi lockwood
For repairing your credit, all you need to do is to first go through the credit report and find out which listing is lowering your credit score. First try and remove any hard inquiries from the report if it is unauthorized by sending letters to the inquirer. Next if there is a CA listing, which you do not agree to, send dispute letters to the credit bureaus asking them to remove the listing. If however, the listing is valid, try and make your creditor agree for a PFD agreement.

maybe you guys are blind, but do you not see where it says enter your email address here for the ebook? I am not trying to get you guys to buy anything! I am making money off off of the site itself, because I want to get enough traffic/visitors so I can sell the domain to a real credit card company. That's why I am trying to get people there. Its all free, and maybe if you guys would check it out the site, and actually read, (i think thats why you guys all have bad credit scores) then you will see its free. no charge. I am not trying to get you to buy something else, those are just Google ads that I get money from them to show on my site. ANY OTHER DUMMY WANNA REPLY?

Wow, what an ignorant reply. I am sure that your site will thrive now that you have insulted the people you are trying to get to visit your site. If YOU would read this site completely you would see that I mentioned many sites (including mine) make money off of advertising etc so they can provide free info.

Sat, 07/26/2008 - 01:41 Permalink

well when you have people criticizing before they know whats going on behind the scenes, THAT IS IGNORANT. I am sorry I am trying to help people, and everyone is putting me down in doing so. maybe you guys don't deserve any free services. in plus, after I said that, no one answered, because they realized, how IGNORANT THEY WERE!

Sat, 07/26/2008 - 03:22 Permalink

First let me say that nobody has put you down. I just read all of the posts in this thread and yes some ppl were a bit hesitant about your site. This is understandable in this day and age when everyone is has an angle.

You however decided yo lash out at a group of people for expressing their thoughts. Honestly, If you are so sensitive to what people have to say about your site and book why would you ever ask them for their opinon? You got what you asked for. There are millions of free sites and ebooks out there. If you want yours to get off the ground I suggest you learn a more constructive way to deal with critisism.

I.e "I understand your concerns about the site. Let me assure you that the book is totally free and you email address is only collected to distribute a newsletter. Any other questions email me."

Good Luck with the site

Not EVERYONE on this forum has bad credit. There are actually people, on here, who have GOOD credit and want to share their knowledge with those, to 'BETTER' their credit. But, I do agree with something...that WAS an ignorant reply. No one is a "dummy" on this site......people just want advice and knowledge on how to deal with CA's, etc.

Sat, 07/26/2008 - 09:22 Permalink

i actually do agree. that was a dumb, ignorant, reply, but that only made me mad, because you guys were ignorant answering back. talking about nothing is free, when clearly, my eBook is for free. i understand my reply was ignorant, but so was 20 of the other peoples comments

Sat, 07/26/2008 - 15:57 Permalink

I won't be referring anyone to that web site. Does that make me a dummy?

Sun, 07/27/2008 - 01:08 Permalink

Hopefully this will not become an long 'fight'...........everyone has opionions and points of view. I DO believe, however, even if the book is free, then why do we have to put our e-mail address in...and what other information the site asked for?

Sun, 07/27/2008 - 02:01 Permalink

Good questions Sd. I just wish people would mind manners around here.

Mon, 07/28/2008 - 15:20 Permalink

I think for the most part people do, sometimes when you work hard on somthing you get a bit...touchy. It appears as if everyone has learned a lesson from this and we can move onto the next topic :)
