| I was with the J Hass group but all they did was ignored my creditors. They told me to send a letter to all of my creditors so I didnt get calls. Because of that I got sued. The J Hass group never negotiated my debt nor did they warn me I was getting sued for the debts they promised to take care of. I feel like I paid them for nothing. I would have been better off setting up agreements with my creditors. i dont understand what is going on anymore. i am so deopressed. i cant even believe they are still in business. i had to Cancel the service and i am still waiting to get my money back. I also found out a lot of debt settlement companies are being sued by the state and their clients money is put on hold. I need my money. Please be careful on who you choose to take of your debts or just take care of them yourself. At leat you dont charge yourself for your services |

Hi Kim
It is always better if you settle debts with the creditors instead of going for credit repair companies like J Hass group. Since you have already paid them, I don't think that you can get the money back. Instead you can file a complaint against them with the Federal Trade Commission and the State AGs office. So it is always better either to go for good debt settlement companies or do negotiation with by yourself. _________________ Keep in touch

Since, the creditors have already sued you to the court and is about to bring judgment against you to recover the debt, you should now contact the creditors and come to a settlement plan with them to pay off the debt. This is because if there is judgment against you, there can be either garnishment of your bank account or your wage, and this judgment will get reflected in your credit report and lower your credit score by as much as 100 points. _________________ All the Best

| We engaged the services of The J Hass group in October. We have continued to receive those dreaded phone calls and have referred them to the Hass group using their script but unfortunately are still receiving calls. The Hass group warned me about this stating that they get more leverage with the debt companies when we are in more serious arrears. I have been able to contact customer service to receive reassurance that they are still there. When I talk with them they have all my updated info I have sent. I love their newsletter. I will keep this site updated as to any resolutions that have been made hopefully in a couple of months. |

| @kimtravis: I have used the j. hass group and am very pleased with the results thus far. the key issue is patience--you must follow the directions of customer service and the negotiators to the letter. if you are constantly anxious, stressed, or impatient about the process, then you should try something else, like paying your debts in full to the creditors. |

| WE ARE GOING THROUGH A DYNAMITE DEBT SETTLEMENT TO PAY OFF OUR BANK OF AMERICA CARD WHICH WE HAVE BEEN PAYING FOR ALMOST 5 YEARS. DYNAMITE SAYS THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF IT AND WE PAY THEM A SMALLER FEE FOR 30 MONTHS. I WOULD LIKE SOME INFO IF IT IS A REPTABLE CO. |

You can check Dynamites reputaion by going to the Better Business Bureaus site. It is www.BBB.com. You can click on the consumer link and then you will be taken to a page where you can list the business and the state. It is fairly simple. You can check out a lot of business this way.
Some extra advice is that I would check any place out I was going to be doing business with on this site before signing up for services. It may save you lost money and headaches n the long run. |

There are hundreds of debt settlements companies in US and so it is very difficult to tell which one is more effective in settling your debt. However, you should always go for IAPDA certified debt settlement companies. I don't think that J Hass Group has IAPDA certification nor they have BBB Accreditation. You should check out first and then go for their debt settlement program. _________________ Where there's a will, there's a way !! |

| justin... i use to work for a consumer credit counseling company as well. i really like debt settlement better. in most cases that i dealt with, please had an upfront fee (not w/debt settlement), the programs were generally 1-3 years longer than debt settlement and it shows a cccs on your credit report for each tradeline. there are many companies when viewing your report look at the noted cccs as a BK chpter 13. |

been with the jhass group and find that sometimes the lines are busy howe4ver their customer service people are friendly and helpful. To those who talk about receiving creditor calls--if you would read the infromation from them-and listen to them you would know that CREDITORS HAVE THE RIGHT TO KEEP CALLING! I never heard anyone from Jhass say they could stop the calls!!

| I have been working with JHass for over a year and have had a great experience. I have to say that the beginning felt never ending and was very stressful, but their customer service dept always helped me calm down. I think a lot of people who complain are still in the beginning and I would know because I was one of them. But once i got through that rough patch, the calls began to calm down and I began to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I still have another year and a half left. I will keep u updated.... |

Dynamite is a good company to work with. I have been with them for about 6 months and they actually work with the J hass group. So far it has been a tough road and the calls worse than ever. However any time i call in to Cusotmer service there is some assurance that htings are being handled. I have actually recieved a settlement offer already on my capital one card, i didnt hv ethe money to take it but i did recieve the offer. |

| I am definetely in the beginning stages right now. I'm in my 4th month of the program and my phone rings off the hook. I unplug my phone and keep my cell on silent and check it every once in a while to see if someone i know called. I have customer service on speed dial and they are great. Sometimes you do have to wait 2-3 min but they always help clear your mind. I haven't gotten to speak to a negotiator yet but my cs rep said that i will once i have enough to make a good settlement. |
