A charged off as bad debt from American Gen finance for 3400 which is estimated by equifax to fall of my report 8/2009, but there is also the same account # and amount by a collection agency estimated to fall off report 9/2010. Is there anything I can do? This same situation happens twice on my report. Two double entries on same debt.

It means that the original creditor has sold the debt to the collection agency and before selling the debt they have reported it to the credit bureaus and the collection agency after purchasing the debt has reported it to the bureaus. So both the names of the OC and the CA would be there in your report. It is not a double entry, but listing of names of both the CA and the OC in your report against the same debt.
