Research is the best thing anyone can do,.

in summary its a company that help people with debt relief, They have multiple programs to help manage debt, I chose their settlement program

IMO one of the better companies out there. I personally spoke with Matthew there , he was very upfront with me and he explained everything i needed to know about debt management programs available for me ,

I received the same notice in the mail recently. If you search the BBB for Dynamite Consulting Group (which is listed on the flyer) you get a rating of "B+" (on a scale of A+ to F). It also lists this as "Information Bureaus". The other company on the flyer listed is the "Fair Debt Assessment Department". Look that up on the BBB and you notice that it is listed as a "Credit & Debt Counseling". It receives an "F" rating on the same scale. The address listed on my flyer was the address of the consulting group, not the debt counseling company. All in all, it seems rather shady to me. Of course, this is just my two cents.

Being a web developer, I've worked with a couple debt settlement companies. In working with them, I've learned that the BBB is actually biased. Being a debt settlement, credit counseling, debt management company automatically dings your BBB rating. I don't know by what scale or anything, but I know it does. Just do your research and either get out of debt yourself, or find a decent company to make your life a little less stressful.

Q:how is a person's credit standing impacted by participating in DDS 556?

A: everyone's credit is different. Debt programs are not designed to give you better credit score, these programs are designed get you of debt.

people need to understand a credit score cant put money in your bank accounts. only you can.. so its up to you to decide whats more important, your credit score or the cash you have in your back pocket.. most people just dont get it. they get convinced in the credit card lifestyles of staying in debt. getting out of debt it toooo weird, unheard of for most.

from what i understand about credit after you finish a debt program you credit will repair its self. as long as you have good payment history with other trade lines, google it ..

yeah I don't trust debt settlement organizations, due to the fact that you could possibly get sued by your creditors if your accounts become delinquent.

I would rather go with credit counseling, it's a lot easier on your credit and may be more effective in getting your credit accounts payed off!

Hi,
I am struggling with credit card debt due to marital issues and a mother ill with cancer. I would like to consider debt consolidation, but have heard that it can ruin your credit status. I want to pay off my credit cards but am unsure how. I don't know if it is better to just slowly pay them off or consolidate?
