my boyfriend want to know how to get this drbt out of his name because his mother put an electric bill in his name when he was 15 years old and now they cut off his electric and he has $1000 to get his electric back on. what do he do?

I am afraid he has nothing else to do other than paying off this money if he wants his electricity back.
However, is this getting reported on his credit report? Is this still with the electricity company or has it been handed over to a collection agency? Please, provide some more information so that I can help you in this problem.

Actually, he can fight this but it will take a while.
So he can't be libel if he was 15. BUT, he will have to file a complaint about this and he may have to report his mother.
