I have a foreclosure started on my credit report I'm sure from being behind because of injury at work and had very little income. But I wasn't notified of this at all. Only found out when I got report. Maybe because I filed bankruptcy on them and moved out. After the fact they were willing to work with me so I moved back. Now with settlement money I am able to pay them off. So my question is can the foreclosure be removed or can I dispute it since they didn't continue with it and I wasn't notified?

Thanks for reply I ask him if he would remove it and he said he couldn't he could just put satisfied on it. But thats ok I have to deal with bankruptcy being listed any way so I guess its a waiting game from here.

Hi,

Unfortunately, "satisfied" will not really help your credit report. So then, you have to wait for 7 years to get the negative item removed from your credit report. However, you can try boost up your score by doing certain things.

You can get a secured credit card and use it properly to improve your credit score. You can also become a member of credit union. Otherwise get gas/store cards for yourself. Use them properly, pay the bills on time and you will be able to improve your credit score and enhance your credibility in front of the creditors.
