Hello Again,
I am about to submit a pay for deletion letter to a creditor and I was considering faxing it to them. The reason being that it would be faster and I would have instant confirmation that they got it.
Does any have any suggestions on how to go about doing this?
As always any advise would be greatly appreciated!

If you have the fax number of the creditor or the collection agency, you can definitely send them the pay for deletion agreement by fax. But before faxing them, be sure that the number is correct. You can also confirm the contact details of your creditor or the collection agency from the BBB website. For sample pay for deletion letters, you may visit the link letters of credit. _________________ Where there's a will, there's a way !! |

Hi Sean
If they agree to pay for deletion agreement, you should get it in writing first before you pay off the debt to the creditors. This is just to keep it as a proof that they have agreed to PFD in case later they do not agree to remove the listing from your report. _________________ SCOTT

| I think it would be better to send a letter VIA E-mail...just because if you FAX them a letter, it's possible they CAN say they never received it, etc. I ahd this happen to me once. If you MAIL them a letter, then they have to sign it, ..this way you have proof they received it. |
