I have an overdue payment (July 1996) to the postal service credit union. Can this creditor garnish my SSDI, and if so. Is there a limit to how much I get from SSDI to pay this creditor monthly?
Postal Service Credit Union? I've never heard of them. Overdue payment for..what? I don't think that ANY kind of garnishment can be taken from your SSDI....however...you might want to wait until one of the experts, on the Forum, see your post.
I work for the US postal letter carrier and apply for a loan back in 1996. was renewed by a lawyer and now the poatal service has nothing to do with this loan. The lawyer wants a 10% interest fee, court fees and all kinds of fees I never heard of. LOL LOL
