Hi schultheisann ,

I have personally not worked with the Kirkland Green. However, the BBB rating of the company is A+, which means it is a very good company. However, you should only work with a company after finding out whether or not the offer they are giving is suitable for you.

Subject: Scam - Watch Out For Krkland Green

Kirkland Green is a scam company. Fees are outrageous and the DSR's are rude and want to sign you up immediately without giving you time to think. I did some reasearch online and discovered that they have been in business for only 16 months. This is scary within itself because they have never actually had someone complete the program. I also noticed they have made illegal telemarketing calls under the disguise of a different name. One of the owners Jeremy Foti has had many lawsuits filed against him in the past when he owned several mortgage companies. Be weary.

Subject: Kirkland Green Debt Settlement Scam

I did business with Kirkland earlier this year and all they did was take my money. I got hustled by some fast talker into believing that they could help me when all they did was take my money and refuse to give it back. After i read the post above about Jeremy Foti and looked online myself i am realizing i am an idiot for signing up. I mean really who would use a company that has owners CONVICTED of runnning telemarketing scams in the past. Stupid Stupid Stupid. If i had the money i would go to their sales office and smash Foti's face in. What a loser scumbag!

It is really hard to find a descent one, goodluck with this, I would start with the better business bureau, they may be able to guide you in the right direction, but you need to keep in mind that the better business bureau is a voluntary organization.

I am a customer of Kirkland Green and they did not perform according to their agreement. I have filed a BBB complaint and they tried to resolve it with me by giving back some of my money. I turned them down. They can keep my money and I will keep my complaint with the BBB going as long as I can. I also just recently filed a complaint with the California Attorney General's office. They have responded and plan to investigate Kirkland for poor business ethics.

It is a good thing that you filed with the Better Business Bureau. The more people that puts in complaints helps stop the next person from becoming a victim. Good going involving the ATTY general also. Hopefully he or she can help you get back some of your money. A lot of scum bags seen that the credit counseling and debt consolidation was becoming a big money maker. So now we have to try and sort the good from the bad and this is getting harder to do. I was told the best type of company is one that is non profit. Avoid the ones that are now using "stimulus" wording to get people to sign up.

The better business bureau is a good place for people to look for a companies reputation, it is voluntary for a company to comply with, so usually companies try to keep a good profile if they take the time to join.

You will often see taht bad companies are listed there too, you will see where complaints have been filed and the results are there. It is a good reference guide. But you pulled out the big guns with using the attorney generals office, good for you. That is what they are there for.

Please keep us updated on how this works out.

I have to get on there and look up Rubin and Yates. I did a recent web search on them and did not get much. Apparently they are on the newer side. I did however find out they are just a small bunch of people that ought out debts then hired people to try and collect them while they went out playing golf.

I love how you morons think that the BBB is such a legitimate company. The BBB is a Business in itself. William Mitchell solely benefits from the accounts of the BBB from its membership services. That is why Yamaha and Toshiba and Chase and big companies you have cars and credit with are rated an F rating but none of you know that cause you see what you want to see and hear what you want to hear. Hey blind mice GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR DEBT. It is obvious why you all are in it.

Wow, aren't you a bucket of sunshine, most people here refer to the BBB as a resource, not as a final answer on things, if you would read most posts they also state to contact your attorney generals office, which is a legit resource for all people in all situations in their different states.

If you have some valuable to offer then please do, if not then we would appreciate it if you would follow forum rules and not be biligerant towards posters. You have no idea how people here got into the situations they are in and what did you expect people on a debt forum to be discussing. Please be pleasant, offer some good advice or don't post negative comments on this forum.

I am sure that I speak for the majority here, we are not morons, we are people who are trying to help each other, so either offer something constructive or find your place some where else. Thank you!

I worked for company but was completely mistreated by management. It was normal business practice to use profanity "F-Bombs" and highly sexual references in gender mixed sales meetings...The Sales Manager Todd Smith is a complete tool and the #1 offender...He'd say how much he wanted to have a three way with two of the office girls, one of the girls was Sonia the sister of one of the 4 partners. I wouldn't mess with Ed's sister maybe someone should tell Todd's wife what a pig he is...

Hello Imposter, Are you speaking of Kirkland and Green? a lot of people whom use to work for companies such as these find it is not a place where they wll enjoy years of employment. Junk debt collecting is about as good as a job at Mc Donalds (no offense). You see a lot of people who quickly find out that the job is not all they make it out to be.
Good going on your post Goodnatured. I like the way you handled it. People come here for help not to be judged. The type of posting above is very ignorant and definately against forum rules. Luckily posters such as this never come back after making the above remarks. I would not hesitate to guess maybe the poster was a junk debt collector or still is. Rudeness is not needed here.

I agree fireyone, what this person does not understand is that we are all one paycheck away from being in the same situation, it very well could be them in a day. Think before you open your lips PG
