I have a letter from a creditor who has agreed to remove a late pay from my report, but they appear to be taking their sweet old time in doing so! Is it possible to send or fax this letter directly to the credit bureaus to speed up the process? If so, where do I find their contact information?

yes, send a copy of the letter to any collection agency that is listing it.

Hi Guest,

Yes, you can directly send a letter to the credit bureaus, including the copy of the letter that you send to the creditor.

Below are the fax numbers of all the three credit bureaus:

Transunion: Fax number-610-546-4605 or 610-546-4758
Phone number (800) 888-4213.

Equifax: Fax number-888-664-4535 or 888-729-0083
Phone number (800) 685-1111

Experian:Phone number (888) 397-3742
Experian does not have a fax number, so you can contact them through the phone number given above.

Hope this will be of some help.

Regards,

Aaron
