Subject: Me too, I just got money...

Posted on Fri Nov 30, 2007 12:16 pm

I too just received a $1,200 direct deposit from FIA CSNA in my checking account. I too am not going to tell them. I'm just going to wait and see. Who knows...

Hello Moore

My opinion would be to inform them and give the money back. It must have been a mistaken transfer.

Hi Lindsay,

Have you been through the same difficulty with FIA CSNA?

I just saw this on my cedit report too (though no charges had been made) and called this number: 1-888-991-8478. They informed me I had a Platinum Plus Mastercard with my bank, which I never opened. They cancelled the account. It took me awhile to locate a phone number that allowed me to talk with a person and not have to enter an account number first but the lady was very helpful!

Hope this helps someone out there!

Subject: It just showed up as an inquiry

I have never had a credit card with MBNA or Wachovia. I do however have an auto loan through Wachovia since they bought out WFS. I already BoA credit card and auto loan. When I tried to contact FIA CSNA at the numbers listed above they told me that they do not have anything on file pertaining to my info, but that does not mean that a company associated with them did not conduct the inquiry, and since they had no info they could not remove it from Experian. Any Ideas?

Go Ahead and dispute the items with the credit bureau. If the company does not have any idea the item should drop off from your report.

I have this on my credit report also. Currently I have a fraud report out on my credit. Someone in Cleveland Ohio that lives at 1927 Holmden Ave 44109 has made attempts to get 5 credit cards in my name. This person has my social security number and birthdate. So check your credit reports for experian, equifax and transunion. What a Christmas present; I have to call them tomorrow 1(800)421-2110 to make a report. I hope this has helped

Hi Mystery,

You can go for a fraud alert. This has been of immense help. Thanks for the information.

Yes guest definitely it is the BoFA. the card services operate under this name once MBNA merged.

Hi Mystery,

Have you called them up? Any update from their side?
