Wachovia is also a banking institution which has recently tied up with FIA card services. In addition to personal finance and wealth management, Wachovia also offers credit card services to its customers. As far as I know, the Wachvia cards comes with 0% balance transfer, attractive purchasing rates and world wide acceptance. Besides these cards provide 0% liability on unauthorized purchases.

Subject: Why does my Credit Card have my Credit Unions name on it?

However, when i contact my credit union they tell me to contact FIA Card Services.....The said, that they sold their consumer credit portfoli to MBNA that is now FIA

I'm confused? CAN SOME ONE HELP!

Yes, MBNA card service is now FIA card service of Bank of America. When you obtained the credit card, it was from the credit union and so the name of the credit union is mentioned on your credit card. But now they have sold their credit card division to FIA card service and so you need to contact FIA for details regarding your credit card. According to the new Bank of America rules,yes we can pull a report on you and drop your credit score without your knowledge and there is nothing that you can do about it,even if you did not apply for credit. That's why B of A stock share going down the tube.Result of being dishonest.

Chase bank sent me a card with a very low 25.7% annual rate.$49.00 membership fee.Then they say your good credit earned you this card.I guess your interest rate goes up with Chase bank when you pay your payments on time.

The low interest rate is because you have a good credit history. When you have a good credit score, the creditors do not find it risky to offer you a new card and so they charge a low rate of interest so that you make purchase with the new card instead of the old cards. A one time membership fee is good, but you should check the terms and conditions and find out whether there is any annual charges associated with the card and whether you can pay the annual charges.

I WAS TOLD I HAVE A BALANCE AND HAVE BEEN MAKING PAYMENTS
ON A FIA CSNA ACCOUNT ..I PAY MY BILLS ON LINE AND HAVE NOTHING
WITH THAT PAYMENT AMOUNT??
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO TO GET A REAL FREE CREDIT REPORT

Absolutely the worst, credit card institution in the world. Called to ask about one error on my card. I've had perfect credit for 20 years. They asked me what my income was. I didn't know that their purpose was to reduce my credit limit. They did so in one phone call from a hard earned $47,000 credit limit to $10,000. They are so terrible that one agent claimed they emailed me bills, which I have absolute proof they did not. The next day another agent claimed I was never on their email list. I have reported them to my congressman and Bloomberg financial network. I encourage all of you to stand up for your rights and stop letting these gangster banking institutions take your tax money and destroy your hard earned credit at the same time. I want to sue, but I really don't know how. Believe me if anyone wants to start a class action suit, count me in!
