Wachovia is also a banking institution which has recently tied up with FIA card services. In addition to personal finance and wealth management, Wachovia also offers credit card services to its customers. As far as I know, the Wachvia cards comes with 0% balance transfer, attractive purchasing rates and world wide acceptance. Besides these cards provide 0% liability on unauthorized purchases.

However, when i contact my credit union they tell me to contact FIA Card Services.....The said, that they sold their consumer credit portfoli to MBNA that is now FIA

I'm confused? CAN SOME ONE HELP!

Yes, MBNA card service is now FIA card service of Bank of America. When you obtained the credit card, it was from the credit union and so the name of the credit union is mentioned on your credit card. But now they have sold their credit card division to FIA card service and so you need to contact FIA for details regarding your credit card.
