I just saw FIA CSNA on my credit report. Can anyone explain to me what this is and where it came from?

It seems to be related with FIA Card Services/MBNA/BOA. What does the status say? Is it an inquiry?

I said there is a 0.00 balance now, the highest balance was 1952.00 and the limit is 3,000.00. I honestly can't remember having a credit that was FIA CSNA.

Rebecca, have you tried calling the CRA? Do all the three credit reports contain this?

If you don't believe this is yours then you should dispute it with them. I have seen on my own CR where there are items that are not mine but somehow through human error ended up on my report. I didsputed and it was removed. Try that if you truly do not believe it is yours.

I am calling them now. they have no credit card account that matches my ssn or name with the number they submitted to experian. I have to wait for a credit analyst to submit the correction to experian. takes too long for their error to be corrected.

calling experian: they said I would have to have FIA remove the account from Experian. Of course after a while on the phone and more time on hold with FIA, I was first told I had to contact Experian to have the report removed myself. Then when I protested they went straight to "I will send an e-mail to our credit department and they will contact Experian, expect to see the change in 60 days."

Hi, I think this is a Wachovia Credit Card. I had it too and that is the only one thing I was missing was that card. So, if you've had a Wachovia Credit Card then that is prob what it is. MBNA has bought that card service now so that is why it looks funny, some accounts are still in transition. Call Wachovia and see if they can help you. Smile
