Subject: The Gov is garnishing from my SSD payment

They started about 1 1/2 yrs ago. Is there any program I could join to let me send in smaller payments??? The VA has a program where I can have just 20.00 taken from my check each month for my Medicine they send..

Hi Treyzdazed,

Can you tell me for what kind of debt accounts your Social Security Disability (SSD) payment is being garnished? As far as I know, the SSD payment can only be garnished to repay loans guaranteed by the federal government or child support.

It started last month, th!!!!ey took out almost 200.00 I went and signed a form where they take out $ 20.00 a month....A whole lot better
