Hi Alex,

Welcome to the forum. I like it here too. I've only been here for a week or so & I love it here. This place is full of useful information, tips, advice, etc. No matter what you are looking for regarding debt, it's here. OR you could just ask a question.

Even if you don't know anything about debt/credit/budgeting. I've been replying to a member in a different thread who just turned 18 & wants to start out right. See, doesnt matter what stage you are in, there are always people here willing to help. I love this site!

True, you are never too young to get a good start on your credit, most people your age don't even know what a fico is. You are off to a good start.

Lucky for me, I have a boyfriend who is 10 years older than I am. So, naturally, he has been through more than I have. Not to mention, made more mistakes credit wise than I have. For that, I'm thankful. He's been a tremendous help for me. Overall, he keeps me in check. Smile lol

Most people here have learned from experience, that is why they are so passionate about their cause and their writings.

goodnatured, i believe that's why i find this site so helpful. because pretty much everyone who's giving advice has already been through the situtations & can speak from trial and error. i personally enjoy hearing about people's triumphs [not so much the struggles, because that doesnt make anyone happy]. and i love learning from others who have been in my boat or to AVOID getting in that "boat". do you know what i mean? life changes all the time for everyone & its nice to know what to look out for & what to do if you fall on the wrong path. this site is great for providing that help.

GOSH!! I don't know what else I could say, after reading the above posts!! I think everyone covered just about everything!!LOL Before I started, on this Forum, I had NO IDEA on how to deal with my credit, CR's, etc. I had some wonderful advice from ALL of those, on this Forum. It IS 'easier' to deal with issues when someone has gone (or is going through) the same thing.
