i went through a divorce and my credit was affected greatly. i have a credit score of 593 and i recently had a judgement deleted from my report. how much can i expect my credit score to go up? i've read 50 pts on several sites, but i wasn't sure. anybody out there have any experience in this area?

Its hard to give a definate amount of points. Definately having more positive than negative is good, so every negative that you can get removed the better.

I believe everyone's is different. It also goes by what you owe ect. But congrats on a 8 point improvement.

Hi atticus,

I completely agree with interstudy. You should first try to remove all the negatives from your credit report by paying all dues(if any). However the truth is there is no certain way in which you can raise your credit score. For the improvement you need to have a lot of patience.

Regards,

Aaron
