FIA CSNA inquired about my credit yesterday without my permission. I did not ask them today. Today equifax alerts me that a new card was opened in my behalf. I did NOT ask for this card.

I am in the TV news business and this sounds like a scam that needs to be reported. CLOSE THE ACCOUNT and issue a written apology ASAP

I would first of all call equifax and the other credit bureaus and issue a fraud alert as soon as possible. Let them know you did not apply for this account and all the other details. See if your report lists a number for FIA CSNA and call them immediatley and inform them of this also. Tell them if the account is not closed and removed from your credit report you will contact the states atty. generals office and better business bureau.

Hi LynHeider
This is a credit forum where we discuss and try to solve credit problems. This site is not at all associated with FIA CSNA and so you need to contact FIA card services of Bank of America. I think that you have been a victim of identity theft and so you should immediately file a complaint with the FTC if you do not get any card from FIA CSNA.
