A judgment is going to be placed against me by a credit card company. My only income is from Social Security and Military Retirement. I live in the state of Florida. Can they go after my income and can they attach my bank account if the only money going in is from the government?
Social security can not be garnished. I am not sure about the military pension, is it for a disability, if it is then it can not be garnished either.

Generally speaking, both Social Security income and military retirement income cannot be garnished. However, there are some exceptions. Both Social Security and retirement benefits can be garnished for reasons like child support, alimony, tax levies and debts owed to the government.
