what exactly is a credit card judgement?

If you have made purchases with your credit card and became delinquent, the creditor can sue you to the court and bring judgment against you to recover the debt. This judgment by which the credit card company recovers the outstanding debt either by garnishing your bank account or by garnishing your wage is known as credit card judgment.

If you do recieve a summons make sure that you answer it and appear in court. By not doiong so they will get a default judgement against you. Just remember they can not attach your accounts or anything until they get a judgement from the court.
