I was served a summons from a credit card co. I went to self help and completed an answer, I still need to file my paperwork. I was wondering if I would be served again?
Mama, I never heard of being served twice. You do however need to be sure you file all the paperwork and answer the summons. If you do not they can get a default verdict against you and they will be able to get a judgement. With a judgment they can attach your bank account and wages.
I've never heard of being served twice either. I guess if something would happen and they had to change your court date then they may have to issue another. Not sure how that would work.
