I don't think the same way. It is not that difficult to repair your credit on your own. You just need to know the right steps.

This company I am dealing with removes late payments put them back on noones knows what they are doing need a letter to have late payments removed that are file on the wrong months on credit report

Hi crazylady,

You need to send a dispute letter to the credit bureaus in order to remove the wrong information from your credit report. Send the letter through certified mail, requesting a return receipt.

I HAVE A BIG PROBLEM I GOT SOME BUISNESS LINES OF CREDIT AND I STARTED INVESTING IN REAL ESTATE AND I WAS DOING WELL THEN THE MARKET CRASHED AND NOW I CAN'T PAY MY DEBT BACK, SO I HAVE LAW-SUIT AGAINST ME. I CHOSE TO PAY A CREDIT CARD IN THE SETTLEMENT AMOUNT. IT SHOWS AS PAID/CLOSED IN MY CREDIT REPORT, HOWEVER ITS REFLECTING AS SOMETHING NEGATIVE ON MY CREDIT REPORT. WHAT IS THE CORRECT LETTER THAT I SHOULD MAIL OUT?

All the information here has been a blessing. I followed 1 piece of advice I read on this site not even a week ago, and in that short period of time my Fico score went from 594 to 652.
Thanks for all the information.

My question is, if I have already begun to pay a collection agency for a debt, and I have 1 payment left in the amount of $247, can I still send them a PFD letter before I make this last payment?
