I recently found out that chase collected on chargeoff account that was already paid in 2008 . I paid it at wamu and had account with them for almost two yrs after until 2009 and that account fell into a negitive balance because of lost of empolyment. so they sent me collections notices for one account and when i opened an account with chase they took the amount for the account that already paid and had never notified me. I was always wondering why they took so much and continuing to ask for more money. They dont want to admit their mistake nor come up with any proof i didnt pay it before they took the money in 2010. Im lost and i've been calling them for almost 2yrs on this matter. I called the origninal CA from 2007 they said it was pulled from them in 2008 but no other infomation was given i wrote the media and ftc and now this i need some helpful information cause im getting nowhere to get my money back . please help!

Unfortunatly not with no money down. Be careful trinyg. My husband and I used to have bad credit a couple of years ago and were trinyg to buy a house. We ended up being taken advantage of by an apparent loan shark. We had totally belived him and so did the sellers. On the day we were supposed to pick up the keys the loan fell through. We had been promised that we were approved for a 146 thousand dollar loan. We ended up being without a home. We had already put in our notice where we were living and they had already rented out our apartment. So be carefull or even better, wait untill your credit is better so you can get a good loan. It's worth the wait.
