Okay a new day and so far so good. I figure I would hit a few this morning before going to start in the yard. This way if it does boot me I can get back on later and do it again.

We see people drop out where I work, we put money into their education through monies that we get through state grants, for displaced workers and low income adults, sometimes people will not feel so obligated to finish and drop out. I think they should have to pay it back if they drop out.

I think they don't realize that they are taking the money from some who would have finished, there is only so much of this money to go around.

I am with you on that one. That should be a mandatory rule with a few exceptions (illness and such). Do you know how many people would love to qualify for something like this? You have people who are a few thousand over the income limits and not any better off than the the individuals who can actually qualify. Thes people would welcome such opportunities. They should have some kind of screening systams put in place on these types of things. I know my area is full of people who will start something like this. they get the clothing allowance perks and vehiclle perks and once theat money is gone so are they.

If you are on unemployment your income does not matter, usually the people who are on unemployment have a work history and do finish what they start. We don't have many that do quit, but it is like you know when they start that they are not gonna follow through. You can not discriminate though. The problem is you need positive numbers to continue to get funding, if you don't you don't get the money.

I was thinking of just that when I read your last post. I was thin king how these people who quit could effect the whole funding system. I have come to understand how these things work. I am glad they discluded the income for people on unemployment. they really should because these people have shown they know how to work and deserve the help with out worrying about income guidelines. your agency sounds like a really fair one.
