I read on a post here somewhere and could not find it when I came back on about pulling your credit report from three different reporting agencies, sorry I can not find the post. So would someone please tell me how to pull my reports and the names of three reporting agencies, I only know of one.
thank you for your assistance, I have not got the navigation down yet. |

You can go to each of their websites, just good credit reporting agencies or go to them individually. They are experian, transunion and equifax, you can request one free report a year. It is a good idea to pull them and monitor what is going on. You can also get a free report if you are denied credit for any reason. If you want your score then you have to pay for it, but the report itself is free.
If you have any other questions, ask, someone will help you out. |

| That is good information. You should try to spread out your three free pulls through the year. One about every few months. This way you can monitor it all year through. there are also sites that let you pull it any time you want for a small price. |

Ok here is the run down:
Experian
888-397-3742
www.experian.com
Equifax
800-685-1111
www.equifax.com
TransUnion
800-916-8800
www.transunion.com
Innovis
www.innovis.com
You can obtain free credit reports once per year here:
www.annualcreditreport.com
877-FACT-ACT
I prefer to order reports by phone, the hard copy reports have a better format. More detailed information then the online obtained reports. Plus each report comes with a report # and a dispute phone number so you can get right into customer services if you have any questions regarding information contained on your credit report.
Also if you have current credit cards, your lenders are pulling periodic account reviews and if you know about when they are pulling the reports you can call in the credit reporting agencies and tell them you had been denied credit or suffered adverse action. The credit reporting agency is only going to know a report was pulled, they don't know if anything bad resulted by it. And they will send you a free credit report. You can keep doing this as often as you notice that the creditor accessed a report. Just be sure to call the corresponding credit reporting agency that the lender accessed the report from. _________________ Credit Cards
