Debra, I don't buy Tupperware either. I've never even been to a Tupperware party. My mom & grandma both have Tupperware stuff & it seems like really durable plastic. I buy my storage containers from the dollar stores too. I was using tupperware as an example. Right now, I couldnt afford the start-up costs even if I wanted to.
I was just wondering how much people make doing home party sales as a consultant for those companies. My researching has found that you can get 35% to 50% of total sales in commission. But getting people to book parties & place orders in a down market seems like it would be really difficult. |

i have another idea for everyone.
Donating plasma or blood. i know in my area, they pay like an avg of $55 a week [giving twice a week] for plasma. not the most ideal way to earn some extra cash, but hey its like 220 month you didnt have before that could be applied to debt.
guys, you can donate sperm. i think you can get like 50-100 week for it. i have heard that a lot of college guys do this to pay their way through school [living expenses n stuff].
women can get a couple thousand dollars for a harvested egg but i heard its a really extensive procedure with lots of shots prior to the harvesting. alot of people have told me it isnt worth it because it is a really painful procedure. but if donating an egg for a good reason, like helping out a family who cannot conceive themselves-then its a good way to make some money too. |

| I have heard of people doing this before but I don't know where they go to do it. Do you go to the hospital or Doctors office? I am talking about the giving blood one. I am to old to give anyone my eggs. This information may come in handy if the economy gets worse. |

| hmmm.... i would look in your phone book or google. there are quite a bit of centers in my area that pay you for donating your plasma [part of your blood]. I personally havent done it, not yet lol. however, my mom was denied until she has her dr fill out a paper because of one of the medications she is on will be in the plasma or something like that. I know you are in a rural-like area, so i would find a place and then call them to find out about it before you go down there and waste gas/time. my mom was at the center for 4 hours before they told her she couldnt donate until she had the paper signed from the dr. |
