jkh, everprivatecard is NOT on the same website. There are multiple posts about everprivatecard here and on the sister site, debtconsolidationcare.com. Click the Debt Forums link at the top of the page, use that site's built in Google search for everprivatecard or secretcashcard, and you will find multiple threads that have the information you are looking for-READ THEM. Again...this site is not affiliated with secretcashcard/everprivatecard/whatever.

Word to the wise, it is really not advisable to put personal info on a public forum-that's inviting trouble. Second word to the wise: stay away from payday loans...I am 100% sure that is how this happened to you.

Last thing...I'd ask a moderator to remove your personal info from the first post.

If it was unauthorized, talk to the bank as well, they should be resposible too.

They also took two payments of 49.95 out of my account. Do you how or what I need to do to get my money back?

You might start by disputing the transactions with your bank...
File a complaint with your AG...
Stay away from payday loans....that seems to be the most common way that people end up stuck with epc/scc charges.

Hi Shiketa,

A lesson to learned is keep away from PAYDAY LOAN. They do not do any good and you gradually get entangled in serious trouble. Do follow the steps mentioned by morningstar and keep us posted.

As it is that you have faced the problem, please go ahead and see to it that people around you , people you know, do not fall into the same trap. SAY NO TO PAYDAY LOANS.

Good Luck.

Hi Lee,

Talk to your bank and try to do a reverse payment. File a complaint with the AG of your state.

Call your bank and tell them that this is identity theft and fraud. Ask them to change our account number, they actually will insist on doing that if you're filing a complaint of fraud. Then provide them with a copy of all the complaints on the computer. Go to all the boards and print these. Give them Jerry Cline's name as well. Then also file a fraud complaint with your service provider using the same information as well as the Federal Trade Commission and your AG's office. Also provide all these individuals with the routing number or SWIFT number and bank account number for the electronic checks that EverPrivateCard submitted to your bank. Make sure you give this banking information to the legal authorities so they can trace funds immediately and try to block this crooks access to the funds he's stolen from you.

The electronic checks this company are providing to your bank for fraudulent payments are issued for payment to their bank, T Bank, located in Dallas, Texas. By doing an on-line search for this routing number I came up with a phone number of 972-720-9000. This is the branch where the account is located. On the back of these electronic checks are also the company's account number listed 0012003257. I would suggest you call this bank and file a complaint as well as make sure you give this information to the authorities, AG's office, Federal Trade Commission, etc. To file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission you can go to the FTC.gov website and there is an on-line complaint form you can fill out. A company called EDP, and its affiliate companies and entities as well as the owners where just investigated by the FTC and issued an order to cease and desist and the very same activities as Everprivatecard. Make sure you give all this information to your bank as well. When you file a complaint with the FTC, print it and give this to your bank as well.

EDeditPay is another fraudulent company. Please do inform more about it. I think they had been sued by FTC a year back.

I applied for a PDL, back in November ( 2006). This loan had some 'extras' along with it. The 'extras' were.., " if you want to enroll in our ' half-price line of credit, click here'. This ad was 'innertwined' ( lack of a better word) with the application, for the PDL. Well...when I looked at my bank account, the next day, a 'debit', of $49.00 was taken out. The NEXT day, another $49.00 was taken out. Maybe for the 'ad'?? I don't know. What I did was tell my bank this was NOT a 'authorized tranaction', by me. they 'reversed' the transaction and 'credited' my account.

Hello Karim,

Please elaborate on your problem? When did you lose it? Have you reported the loss to the credit card company? Please do so as soon as possible. They will definitely help you out.
