Yes! Definitely! When my daughter was in kindergarten (1986), the big thing they were promoting was that there was a COMPUTER in the classroom---OMG---you should have heard everyone (parents)!! We didn't even have one at home till 1996---and now I can't seem to function without it.

Lorri,
I am trying to go to the link in your signature and it will not open up, can you test it and see why I can't open it?

Got that pm Lorri and thanks. It would be nice to see a few extra pennies floating around just so I can pay another bill.

Anymore nothing really is big bucks but hey every little thing adds uop. I came to this forum for help. I had been stressing over a past credit card bill. I found posting helped relieve some of the stress, especially with knowing I qwasn;t alone. The added magic points has enabled me to save for fuel which I had no idea how I was coming up wioth the money with the priceds being so high. So even if its a dime..its worht something.

I avoid shopping anything at 99 cents stores, as most of the things they sale are hardly worth anything.

You can save some money there, I would not be able to complete my shopping list there, but I could pick up a few things to save a few bucks.

I like these stores, they have alot to offer if you are a creative cook, alot of them sell items that I use alot like the pasta and household items like trash cans, foil, baggies and etc. I have found a lot of useful items here. I think with any store you get what you shop for, I will not buy certain items anywhere but the grocery store because of the freshness and use by dates, like meat and milk or any other items that may have expiration dates that can not be overlooked.

I did go into a bulk store and seen miracle whip with a date that was two years prior, well over expired. I would think that you would get really sick from eating something that old. I am not sure what the shelf life is and don't care to take a chance on it either.

I guess its like anything you purchase---know your prices, know whats a deal and what's not, check dates, don't pay more in gas to get to the place than what your buying is worth.

PC, I am laughing about the trash bag thing. My husband would ---- a brick if I bought anything bnut the better brands. I can picture him in the yard screaming at me , holding up an empty trash bag and trash spread all over the place. I can hear ir now "How many times do I have to ask you to PLEASE buy the better bags!!!!!". still laughing...
