No for some reason I can not bring myself to go and waste time there. Goeos to chow how creditable Mr. cowpoke is if he hanging out at a site for teenagers. That sounds like he needs other counseling than credit.

Man do I have the type o's. I absolutely forbid my tweenager from going to that site. I may be an old lady locked in the past as she would put it but my tv set still works. I hear all types of horror stories on the news. Sure the likely hood of it happening around here isn't high but neither was identity fraud when it first started out.

Because some people come here and learn what they ned to do and then go and repair their own credit. If this takes staying up all night blogging then so be it. Puts money in our own pockets when we can do our own credit repair.

I agree with you Fireyone. I think that the best thing is to repair your own credit by yourself. Most of the credit repair companies offer free credit repair services but there are many hidden charges associated with it. But if you keep track of your credit report regularly and keep fixing errors in your report whenever you find one , I think there will be no need to take help of a credit repair agency.

I am hoping to let most people who come here and inquire about this know that the option for self-help is there. I just get a little annoyed at all this spam.

Have you went to cody's webpage, there is a really good page on their about the credit laws, breaks it down, easy to understand. I am not advocating for him. I always at least go check out the page usually there will be something useful there, does not mean I have to use the service.

No I have not made it yet. Seems like evrytime I try to get there everything else interfers. My hubby is home this week in the evenings and it cuts down on my time on the net being that I have to get on in the A>M. I do not have the luxury of DSL here in the country so I am stuck with good old landline net and it isn't fast. If I open another page while on this one b oth become SOOOOOOO slow.

People also wanting a deal actually think they can do their own credit repair and get good results in a short time. Anything of any value in this life is a investment, all the others are costs. It is costing you money, do not waste anymore time take action now. Shop Target its the true american store!

What I think is that we can do exactly what the credit repair companies does. It is a time consuming process and there is no short way to repair your credit. I have found many credit repair companies that take money but in return can make no change in the credit report. Repairing credit by yourself is not at all a difficult task. In fact if you try to solve your credit, not only you save money but also learn the basics of credit repair. A debt repayment plan and your willingness to solve your credit can help you out.

I think that is the biggest view of people in this forum. I also agree that repairing your own credit is best.

You get the benefit of learning throughout the whole process when you do it yourself.
