Hi, I'm new Smile I've been doing some serious research on repairing my credit myself and I found this site today. Seems to be extremely informative and I'm excited to search through it!! My credit score is terrible and I'm looking to improve it. I now have a son, and being a single mom it's all up to me to make a future for us. I'm dreaming of a home with a big back yard for my son to play in. Smile But first, I have to get myself on the right track. I feel motiviated!!

Thanks everyone!

Hello all,

I am new here, I found this site by doing a search on RMCN. I almost was about to pay them to help fix my credit but I just didn't feel right so I kept looking and looking until I found this site. Now I am about to start working on my credit. I had a hard year last year and it shows on my credit. I have repo on my credit and some other things like late payments. I read on here about reaging so I am going to look into that ASAP. I'm hoping to get my credit in good standing within a year or so.

Hi all, My name is Patti. I am engaged to a wonderful guy who, unfortunately , had to file for bankruptcy in 2009. I was wondering how long it takes to repair your credit after something like this. Anyone an exoert on the subject?

Hi Melvin:

To enroll for paperless statements, you need to first visit the cards website. Then sign up with the card online, and then you will be able to register for paperless statements.

Patti:

There is no certain time within which a person can repair his credit. This depends on the individual who is trying to repair his credit. As it's been one year already, he may try applying for new credit cards. However, it will be better if he takes a secured credit card as of now. Secured credit card helps in improving credit score. He can then use the secured card to make purchases that he can afford, and then make on time payments on the card.

After bankruptcy, one should also make sure that there are no wrong listings on the credit report regarding the debts which were added in the bankruptcy. If, there are any such wrong listings, you can dispute those with the credit bureaus.

Thanks,

Aaron

Even though house was sold is this repairable. Are their any circumstances forclosures can be removed?. Hi guys,

Just found this forum. I had been seeking advice on how to improve my credit score after (or during) debt settlement and found it really helpful. There's so much information that I wish I had been aware before I got into this mess. But I'm working my way out of it. Looking forward to chatting with everyone.
