The long road?

Do you ever look into the face of the elderly and see their youth, their smooth skin, and their highest peek of energy? I have always thought why I go for the lower paying more rewarding jobs. I have always thought why I have heard the rule to “respect your elders” and why I have followed that one rule of very few. I have always thought why I have anxiety of death and I have found it’s because I have the ability to put myself in others shoes whether it be kids, my own age, or the elderly. For those that are older I can only hope they have the young in them where they won’t concentrate on the age but rather their physical ability which would benefit themselves and their family. For those who are my age, young 20’s and teens, to realize there is other ideas out there that work better than what they have learned thus far or what there friends say they know about life. For those who are infants who know nothing and are a slate waiting to be written on. Many people come close to going down one road when there is another right beside it. Some go down one road and are on point. Other’s go down the other road and end up in a dead end. How did they get there? I suppose that’s what socialization does!

I think that peoples faces show their experiences in life, if they have a hard life then the lines on their face will reveal it. If they have had an easy life than they have probably had plastic surgery and you would not know anyway, LOL. That is the way life is, Isn't it grand?

yes coffeebean your almost right on, we older people like to get the respect owed us although in the todays world it doesnt work that way i like to think all my experiance has given me the greatest lessons in life and the best is wisdom. i have been there im a female who has been a aide in a nurseing home worked in factories, nurserries, owned a boarding home, coalminer and road construction, to now a senior citizen older worker and im proud of my accomplishments. trust me it was a very hard road and if i would of given up everytime things didnt go well or i got tired of the routine i would be a nobody now. i also raised six children in the circus of my life but if it werent for the very hard roads i traveled i wouldnt have the wisdom nor insight i have today. i didnt always make the right or even good choices but ive learned from every experiance and i wouldnt change a thing. my one boss in the mines once told me experiance is the best teacher with the exception it takes so long. always look up and think positive dont ever let anyone say you cant because you can do any thing in this world you want if you just put your mind to it and focus on your goals. god bless and may you find success in every corner.
