Hi All,

I know that we are still facing the Christmas hangover but what about the coming year 2008. Another year of resolution. How are you preparing for the new year? Anything special?

Laura,

As always one of my big goals for the coming year is too eliminate some debt, I am in the process of re-evaluating my car insurance, looking at what is close to being paid off and etc. I have set goals out into March so far, I am going to do this quarterly so that I can go back and evaluate my progress and see where I am, shift some finances and maybe rearrange to make progress sooner. I am thinking about doing another blog to track my progress but then some of it gets so personal, think I will just do my old notebook and go from there.

I am going to try and keep all my forum money in paypal for christmas shopping, don't know how successful that will be. but I will try.

That is my goals, anyone else care to add?

I wont be surprised if you save a thousand from the forums Smile. Thats the confidence I have in your posts.

This year we dont have any plan for a night out. We will be at home with all your cousins. Yes we are going to party at home. Our motto is to get to know and understand each other. We have been separated due to our careers but after a long year we have got time to meet up. We will make the best of it.

Hey people...new ideas?

That is a great idea, then you will not be on the roads, my fear about going out on New Years Eve is that the amount of people that celebrate with alcohol and then go drive, Holidays should not be a time to remember someones death because of alcohol, so many people out there have these memories because of driving while intoxicated.

I hope that you have fun and that you get too know each other and continue communication, even if just through email through out the rest of the year. A little "thinking of you" or something to that effect. I am sure your party will be great.
