| I bought a ring from Cresents a few years ago. One of my prongs has broke off & I lost the diamond. I can't find a place to fix my ring, what every jewelry store is telling me is to find out who the manufacture was of the ring and maybe they can fix it. How do I find out who the manufacture is? |

I thought this company went out of business. The BBB gave them an F, and their contact is Hardwick's carpets which I'd assume is in GA. Here are some phone numbers: (209)957-6351,366-2183, 477-3054, 524-6881, 668-1053, 825-1910. fax: 524-8965 (all 209).
In 1999 Friedman's Inc had to write off part of it's investment with Crescent.
Crescent had told one customer they had to keep their inventory in TX due to an audit. The customer, and the store, was in California. If this is a private company, how are they in business? Accusations of diamond switching have been made against them, and they don't honor debt.
Someone should look into a class action suit, and find out why they also dba as Hardwick's carpets. There's a big carpet industry in GA, but I believe Hardwick's is based in Cleveland TN. Hardwick's and BBT bank (based in NC) had a huge stock swap a few years back. Is that related to Crescent and how the money to stay in business occurred? |

Hi Ralphie,
You first pull a copy of your credit report. Check the status of the bill, and to whom you owe it. Then you forward the bill amount to the address of the company which holds the due.

| Thank God, there are others with the same concerns, I thought there was no hope in getting my wedding ring and my husbands wedding ring fixed after some of the stones fell out. The last known address was in carlsbad, CA 92018 under friedmans, The infomatiion that you guys have posted gives me hope that I can somehow get this resolved. Thanks. |
