account's that I payed off but was still reporting. I need a letter,

been phone work and a sad story. Help the sad story man.

Welcome to the forums!!!
You can’t remove them as negative items will remain on your credit report for 7 years from the date of your first default. You may make a written request to your creditor to remove that item from your credit report. But it depends on their discretion whether or not to accept your request.

You must be joking. When a pesron files a Chapter 7 bankruptcy it means they are penniless. Buying a new house (or even a preowned home) means you have 20% down on that house in your savings account. So when can you buy a house? Well it depends on how long it takes you to save up that 20% down, have maintenance costs, have closing costs, have furniture and such, etc. etc. So I'd say, depending on the size of income you have from a job, and the good credit you've gained over years on that job, maybe 20 years.References : +1Was this answer helpful?
