I just got an email. Looks like a scammer to me, a no brainer really. Anyone know whare to report it?
This is it. Im gunna cut out the bull and just post the scam part.
------
Presently, the foundation, BHF was granted funds and donations to head a charity support project in the tropical regions of West Africa regarding the fight against heart disease and also supporting the treatment of many childhood Heart Illnesses.
However, Our Donated Funds were by our American counterparts and they mostly come in US based Money Orders, Travelers Checks and sometimes Cashiers Checks.
Getting an accountant in the states or opening an account would have been our best choice but I have a deadline to meet and taking any of those choices would cost our time and a whole lot of other requirements I am not ready to deal with as I would be traveling a lot in the meantime.
So presently, having read your resume and 'assuming' you would be able to deal with cash, I would be willing to employ you on contract basis to be my payment representative / Receptionist / Bookkeeper back in the states, this way I could issue and make these money orders out to you, you could then cash them easily, withdraw Ten Percent (10%) of the total amount on these money orders as your commission for the great service you would be rendering and then send the rest back to me through Western Union Money transfer. |

Given the sheer volume of such scams, I don't know that it is worthwhile to report these scams to any authorities. I mark as phishing, and delete. _________________ I don't dream since I quit sleeping |

Just mark it as spams and keep your spam boxes clean, though the mail services these days clean the spams regularly. _________________ Regards,

Dear Sir
A fake company by the name Google Pro (not the Google) has sent me a " Work from Home Guide" CD and then for three months regularly charged more than $ 72 each month on my Credit Card without my authorization. Where and how to report against them. Thanks. |

Hi Ahmed
My first question to you is: How can the company get your credit card number if you have not provided them with it. If you provide them the card number over internet and a few other details, you automatically authorize them to debit your credit card. However, if you want to stop them, you can lock your existing credit card and order a new one from the credit card company. This will change your credit card number. You can complain against them to the BBB and the State AGs office. _________________ Where there's a will, there's a way !! |

| I received a check in the mail from oklahoma goodwill industries for $3998.00 to do mystery shopping. When I did some research on that co. name, nothing came up. I did more research and found out that if a check comes from canada, it is a scam. I researched the phone number and found that it was in canada. I did not cash the check but I would like to know what to do about this. I really think it is a scam. |
