Subject: How do I collapse the side bar

Posted on Sat Nov 10, 2007 12:35 pm

Hey guys, how do I collapse the side bar with latest topics on it, it is covering up the postings when I open them and can't read a big portion of them. I looked into edit profile and it is not there anywhere.

Sounds like you need to adjust the window on your screen so that it fills the entire monitor....

ok, under what menu?
I don't have a problem on any other forum, just this one. Debtstinker, does yours get in the way? does it cover up the posts?

Can you guys explain how to do what you are suggesting? I would greatly appreciate it, thanks

Well that makes two of us bj, LOL, maybe these guys will have a solution for us. I can only see the bottom fully, it cuts off about three words in each post. In other forums you can edit this in your profile, does not seem to be a function here though. I pmed seth about it also, he hasn't gotten back to me on it.

Well Hi good and bjpetersen,

This is some screen problem i think. Try refreshing the page with ctrl+F5. It helps usually. This side bar floats but refreshing helps a lot.

Nope, didn't work Laura, it won't even collapse upwards either. Think it is a technical problem. Seth, HELP!

Hi goodnatured,

I think this is a browser compatibility problem . Please update your browser and also provide us with the details of your browser and operating system so that we can fix the problem from our side also.

ok, my browser is explorer, it is the same on all three computers that I work on and I have the same issue with the sidebar on all three also. How do I update my browser? I could do it on my home computers anyway.

Hi Good,

it must be a problem from our side in that case. We will surely look into it as soon as possible.

Seth, there is a little arrow there to collapse it up and it will not stay up once you use it, it comes right back down. Can you check that out, it seems like it should stay up there right?

i Good,

I face a similar problem but now I think it is perfectly okay. See whether the side bar is overlapping or not?
