I do have to say I have gotten VERY good advice from others, on these forums!!Really has helped me out, on different issues. i think, the advice that is given, is that much 'richer', because the posts come from personal experience, from the people who post them. Thank you..all of you!!

I totally agree, sdchargers, I value the experience of someone who has been through it personally.

We are doing a good job here helping each other out. I have told some friends about it but they have not gotten on yet, I think my sister will eventually join. Her life and mine are so different, she has been through different financial situations than me. I have been trying to get her on here for quite sometime.

Thanks for the welcome. I look forward to helping those who need it and those who don't need it. I've seen alot of great posters here already.

I'm sure with the proper SEO this site will continue to grow for the better. It is already on the first page on google if you search for credit forum! Another great resource with 'respectful' members is key. Thank you for this opportunity.

I definitely can see a benefit to this forum and am glad I was lead to it. I don't understand why it is not too popular yet. Is it because it is relatively new and no one knows about it? I'm also on the debtcc forum and it is huge!

I try. I still find I run upon questions that I can't answer. I always try to say something , like hang in there someone WILL help you shortly. I don't want them to go away when they need help.

I feel like sometimes that is all I can say. Like an acknowledgement they are there or something.

I know what you mean. Sometimes you hear a story from an OP that really hits home and you want soo bad to help only to find they don't stop back.

I wonder if sometimes posters don't get the idea that they are asking a questions in a forum and are they thinking they will get an answer back to their email?

Wed, 08/27/2008 - 14:38 Permalink

Thats a good thought. Maybe that is what they are thinking since if you register you use your e mail addy as sign in name.

Could be----since nobody ever answers our QUESTIONS.

Fri, 08/29/2008 - 00:59 Permalink

Yep, me too. I have been noticing lately that I answer posts and it shows where they posted but the next time I sign on my response isn't there. I answered this one already and remember reading what you wrote but my reply isn't here from last time.

Really----the only thing that I think could have happened is the original poster edited and deleted the post---but that wouldn't have happened repeatedly, would it?

Sat, 08/30/2008 - 02:52 Permalink

No the poster does not have the power to delete anything that is posted once it is responded to, it is somebody here with admin rights that is pulling them. I think if they are going to do it that they should state that they moved it or removed it. Used to be they would post in read if they altered a post at all, now they just do it.

I agree I think it is only fair to leave the forum name there and just leave a "message deleted due to this or that". At least you would know why and not think your losing your mind. I have seen my credit magic go down dramatically. I recently cashed out and then after that I would get on and do a few posts all on the credit subject and then the next day the post would still be there but I was minus point...as much as $2.50...I sent a personal message and haven't gotten an answer.

Hey fireyone----did you ever get this resolved?

The fundamental issue with budgeting is ensuring your outgoings never go higher than your income. Sounds simple, but some people have difficulty living within their means. The trouble with our consumer-driven social status society I guess.

Hi Adele
Budgeting is important if you want to build up a good credit history. Spending on credit cards without bothering whether you can repay the debt or not has to be curbed if you want to build up a good credit profile. To improve credit score, one should always use the card till the amount he can repay within the card due date. If this is maintained, it would be very easy for a person not only to improve his credit score, but also to make a good habit of saving from his income.
