I received a respond to my question which is more confusing that the credit/b. What in the world is a 623 letter.

Hey godrigu, sorry it was confusing.

It describes a way of removing negative items from your credit. It refers to section 623 of the FCRA. The basic idea is that you have the right dispute your credit tradelines directly with the furnisher. You can request to see the documentation that supports the way your credit is reported. It is a dispute submitted to the original creditor. I wrote an article about this for ehow
