I have read so much on this site and others that now I am confused, eyes bloodshot and I still need help if I am to do this on my own. First things first...I have collections. I know about the PFD letters...I also know all but two IS my bills(medical)do I still need validation? I know whats mine and just want to pay it and it go away. Also 2 of them are right here in my town could I just go to Dr.office and pay them then dispute CA? I would not have know about those particular ones had I not pulled my report. The Dr.office is right here could I just pay the bill and dispute the CA? I've heard that getting a CC is the fastest way to give your score a boost. How long after would you wait to apply for a small mortgage/land loan (30,000)? If an OC is on your report and a CA for the same bill how many different CA's can hold the same bill on your report and would you try to contact the OC or the CA? when sending out letters could you start with a fax and then follow up with a CRR to get the ball rolling and be as annoying as they are? Sorry a little long , but I have so much more where that came from. Thanking everyone in advance.

no do not go to the DRs office and pay. if the CA owns the debt you may have to pay both.

do you have all your credit reports?
what state are you in?
what is the original creditor and the name of the CA?
what is the date of first delinquency? 30 days after last payment

this information will help me make suggestions specific to your case. The state will determine the statue of limitations for this debt. knowing the name of the OC original creditor, will help show if there is a specific govt regulating agency that can help so rt out the truth. Knowing the exact dates is very important too.

lets worry about improving your credit after we clean off the reports.

ok, chez I have read as well as anyone could. I can't help you with a stream of consciousness. I really do need answers to my questions.

I suggest you try again and maybe put it in a list form.

I have report from Experian printed..although I access the others I was never able to see my transunion it said there was an error but whenI go to get it again it said I had already been given one. the equifax I was never able to access after the first time.

I am in Georgia

Creditors are Medical data systems inc: Del/march09 although it does not say that I know what it is for and just have not been able to pay(I am paying a lot of medicals)
Contract callers: Del/ June 09
Collection svc of Athens: Del/Jan 06
payments have only been made on one of these and that was not a payment it was the deductable.
I will resubmit the rest

the sol for GA is 4 years for open accounts and 6 years for contracts.

for instance collection service of Athens may be out of sol.

But these dates are the last payments on accounts? yes? how much do you owe on these?

the collection service of athens has a date opened as of 1/2006
status:06/2009,reported since:06/2009
but then under account history it says :Collection as of April 2010 to Aug 2010, Feb 2010, Nov 2009, Jun 2009

I have collections most are medical
I know all but two are my bills(medical)do I still need validation?
Do you still have to do Validation for the Items you know you are responsible for?
I've heard that getting a CC is the fastest way to give your score a boost. Is this truth?
How long after applying for a CC would you wait to apply for a small mortgage/land loan (30,000)?
If an OC is on your report and a CA for the same bill how many different CA's can hold the same bill on your report?
Do you try to contact the OC or the CA?
When sending out PFD letters could you start with a fax and then follow up with a CRR to get the ball rolling and be as annoying as they are?

1. get all of the bills -tradelines validated.

yes , DV letters need to be sent to CA even if the bill is yours.

I am not addressing the CC , mortgage question -why cram everything into one thread?

Send a DV to the CA to start.

you not read for PFD yet. get your hard copies, send DV letters and post again when you get responses.
